By accessing or using Claire's AI journaling service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
Claire provides an AI-powered journaling service that includes:
Claire is a wellness journaling companion designed to support your personal reflection and self-awareness. We care deeply about your wellbeing, and part of that means being upfront about what Claire can and cannot do.
Claire is not a therapist, counselor, psychologist, or medical professional. Our service does not provide mental health treatment, medical advice, clinical diagnoses, or crisis intervention of any kind. Claire is not a substitute for professional mental health care, and should never be used as one.
Claire is an AI, and AI has limitations. Claire may generate responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, or not appropriate for your specific situation. Claire cannot assess whether you are in danger, cannot determine whether you need professional help, and is not equipped to respond to mental health emergencies.

You retain all rights to your journal entries and personal content. By using our service, you grant us a license to store and process your content solely for providing the service.
The Claire service, including its software, design, and AI technology, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Text Claire is an optional SMS program for conversational journaling messages, replies, account or service notifications, and recurring automated check-ins or guided prompts that you choose to schedule when those features are available for your account. Text Claire does not send marketing messages.
You enroll by verifying an eligible +1 mobile number in Claire and turning on Text Claire with its separate, optional consent control. SMS consent is not required to create an account, use Claire, or make a purchase.
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with Claire, necessary service messages, and any check-ins you choose to schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. After we confirm your opt-out, you will receive no further Text Claire messages unless you resubscribe. Reply START to resubscribe after a previous app opt-in. Reply HELP for help or contact support@clairecalls.com.
SMS is not end-to-end encrypted, and anyone with access to your phone may see your messages. Do not use Text Claire for an emergency or crisis. Call or text 988 in the United States, or call 911 or your local emergency services when there is immediate danger.
Claire provides its service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
